Hello, world!

So.

I've done this blogging thing before with some success, then little success, then no success, respectively. But this year, blogging is on my list of New Year's Resolutions, and so: I must blog. Lucky you!

Eat | Shoot | Wear could have easily been called Eat | Shoot | Wear | Read | Speak | Learn | Et Cetera, but that's not a catchy title, and all the subjects I enjoy (cooking and eating healthy foodie food, photography, fashion, reading and writing, language, new experiences and so on) are bound to morph as I keep this thing going. And so, you get a catchy, abbreviated list in the title.

I promise you musings on things I enjoy at least once a week, with intent to see how my (currently nonexistent) audience morphs my content. I will expose my home life, my book clubs, my secret single behaviors and whatever else I can to make you come back for more. For now, I give you my whole list of New Year's Resolutions.

Drink more water.

In other words, drink less wine and don't forget to wash your face before you fall asleep.

Learn graphic design.

This is more straightforward, and I've found this awesome website to use to teach me design and allow me to put it into practice immediately. (Thank you, Canva!)

Exercise twice a week.

Obviously.

I'm in my thirties. I still enjoy dressing up for dates with my hubby. Also, like, the whole world is getting on this wellness trend (yay!). So I want to stay fit! I looooooove hot yoga and get addicted to it fairly quickly, but if I skip one intended class... buh-bye, commitment. So here's the deal: I'm going to just get out there and be active (like, burn-at-least-200-calories active) at least twice a week.

Blog at least once a week.

Here goes! You're welcome.

Make more time to be at home.

I have a tendency to over-book my schedule. I'm involved in clubs, organizations and social activities ALL the time. Don't get me wrong; I love this stuff. But this wife needs hubby time, and this extrovert needs a little alone time to recharge now and then. Somehow, I'll have to figure out how to carve out free time and leave it there. To be continued on this one!
